The Banner of the Bandit
Seen only at the center of the sun
With eyes of cannons perched as hawks
On a mountain
Out of view like a captive
From the hooded executioner
Last moment flash before the eyes
Hushed into a promise
Death whispers tell no lies
Lost with the distance
Walls melt to the sky
Fires flicker with forgiveness
Faded sparks morph to butterflies
They fly away to heaven
They fly away to heaven
Flying parallel with hell
Farewell to the aspirations
A story life will never tell
Rage unfurls the banner with a rumble of thunder
Biddings of the master are only motives disaster
Feeding off the lack of sympathy, he breathes
Workers of iniquity sacrifice their horrors
For death by the crack of the banner
Racing against the winds of vengeance
On rides the bandit into evermore
Speed of GOD not required
No want of confidence when carrying these colors
Moonless night shades the heart
Blood fills retribution sights
A Vampires’ appetite
Last ride is every mission
Lordly is the spirit of the bandit
A legend who became a mystic
For his inglorious characteristics
Made immortal by cowardly critics
Who live for the banner, flown by the bandit
